BridalPromSave.com, the online bridal shop, is able to offer premiere bridal, bridesmaid, and prom fashion at low prices with no sales tax!

Hello Ladies!

My name is Carrie... I run the online store called bridalpromsave.com. Please consider us in buying your wedding gown, bridesmaid gowns, or prom gown. We will beat any internet price as long as their merchandise is authentic, and we also are located in Delaware, so there is no sales tax.

Our mortar store, Brides and Grooms, Inc., has been in business since 1988. For proof of address and association, as well as directions to our store click here: http://delaware.bbb.org/WWWRoot/Report.aspx?site=90&bbb=0251&firm=4001843

We have been carrying high end designers like Alvina Valenta, Jim Hjelm Occassions, and Lazaro since Brides and Grooms, Inc. opened, but have yet to offer them online. Why? Simply because we are forbidden to post their prices, that is all.

So we are now offering Jim Hjelm Occasions and Lazaro bridesmaids! Jim Hjelm Occassions Bridesmaids are the most prestigious in the industry. When it came the decision of where I would get my bridesmaids, it was simple, Jim Hjelm.

My Story:

My wedding was November 18, 2005. Theme was a fantasy, winter, Cinderalla wedding...not extremely creative, but yes I guess this confirms the brainwashing of young minds, I am holding Disney responsible!

Decisions you would think would be easy since I had been working at Brides and Grooms, Inc since 2002. I started working at the shop, simply because I needed a job. My boyfriend, future husband's mom, had owned the bridal shop.

I graduated with a degree in human services, where I studied human development in the context of community, institutions, and family. I was pleasantly suprised how helpful my studies were in dealing with weddings. Weddings are all about family and relationships...bruised or not. Most all families deal with weddings the same way they would deal with a crisis. Yes I said it, crisis. Such as a death, this a life changing event for everyone! It is a rite of passage and this is the next stage of your life. Luckily it is a happy one.

I wanted my wedding planning to be "undramatic". I had learned the importance of making decisions quickly and sticking with them. Better said than done. I had done my fair share of studying design, necklines, waistlines, etc. and what looked good on what body type. All this wisdom was thrown out the window when it came to choosing "my gown".

First decision, it had to be a Maggie Sottero Bridal Gown. Of course... I had sold more Maggie Sottero wedding gowns than I had eaten slices of pizza my freshman year.

I remember the first and most impressive Maggie gown was the "Dion". What a breathtaking gown, before the Michelle, before the Adelaide, there was the Dion and looked perfect on every single body....big or small. Only in diamond white/ice, that assymmetrical waist, the corset back....now looking back I wish I chose it for myself.

My first gown order was Topaz, for myself that is. It was a Maggie Sottero cover gown...but I ordered it in all white. The top was completely encrusted in Swarvoski crystals, the waistline natural, and the a-line gown was organza. Yes! I got it in. Loved it.....not the most flattering dress but it was certainly a Cinderella gown. Sparkled beautifull in the light, bling! My mom gave the approval...this was after she was nervous and apalled of the picture I sent of it.

Oh no! The next season of Maggie Sottero came out. There it was, Valencia. Sweetheart neckline, the bodice was asymmetrically beaded with pearls and crystals. I loved the picture of it, and knew it was the one, or umm the second one, ha ha!

Alright now my wedding gown was done... it was time for bridesmaids. Some considerations or more like one consideration.... make sure the dress compliments your girls, and makes them feel good. I picked up the Jim Hjelm catalog...found the color and dress in a matter of minutes.

It was perfect in lagoon, and my girls looked better than me!

My wedding was of course, one of the best moments of my life. Not because I got to play dress up with my girls' for a day, but because I got to reunite and remember all the people that love and support me. All the people that I have shared funny moments, triumphs, and heartache! Best wishes in your planning!

Anyway, not sure how this turned into my story, but I think it always helps to hear the whole process.
